Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our guests dressed up but we want you to be comfortable at our wedding. We kindly request that our guests join us in formal or semi-formal attire. Please no white.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we adore your children, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. We hope you will be able to find childcare and use our wedding as a child-free night for you to enjoy!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. If you received a plus one it will be noted on your invitation or when you RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Catalpa Grove. We will also provide a shuttle service to and from the Comfort Inn that we encourage everyone to use. The shuttle will begin around 3:00pm and continue in 15 minute intervals until 4:15pm. The shuttle will then resume towards the end of the reception and conclude at midnight. Check-in at the Comfort Inn is at 4pm however we requested that the hotel honor early check-in for all rooms in our block. They advised to call the morning of the wedding to confirm early check-in.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors weather permitting. The reception will be indoors.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a wonderful photographer named Cassandra to capture all the moments of the ceremony! We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony. We invite you to relax, enjoy the moment and we'll gladly share these images with you after the celebration. Feel free to take as many photos/videos once the ceremony is finished!

Where should I stay?

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Comfort Inn & Suites Barnesville-Frackville. Rooms can be booked directly through the link below or by calling the hotel directly and mentioning the Macko/Knapp wedding.(https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/UJ88Y4) The shuttle will begin around 3:00pm and continue in 15 minute intervals until 4:15pm. The shuttle will then resume towards the end of the reception and conclude at midnight. What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving by 4:15pm to ensure you find a seat but no earlier than 3:15pm.
