Question

Why is the wedding on a Thursday?

Answer

We get it — Thursday is a bit unexpected! But here’s why: Let’s be real — yes, the price helped. But beyond that, we wanted to make our wedding into a full Colorado experience and spend as much time with you as possible. We’re hoping most of you will make a mini vacation out of it: Fly in Wednesday Wedding on Thursday (get the big moment in early!) Celebrate all weekend long What We’re Planning After the Wedding: Friday or Saturday: A park hangout or picnic party, weather depending (think lawn games, grill out, blankets, disc golf, golf and chill vibes) We’re also keeping an eye out for a great show or concert — Red Rocks or Mission Ballroom style — and hope to invite everyone to join. So if you're able, come early or stay late — we want to make the most of this weekend with you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Think spring formal! Vibe is neutral tones — soft pastels, earthy hues, or light spring colors are perfect!! No shorts, please. Slacks, button-downs, or lightweight jackets are perfect. https://spacegallery.org/space-gallery/

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrival at 4:15PM preferred - we are starting promptly at 4:30pm. If the ceremony has started please wait to enter the venue.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a request?

Answer

YES PLEASE! Make a note with your RSVP!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We are encouraging Uber, Lyft, and public transportation to and from the venue. Scooters and E-Bikes also available on Lyft and Lime Scooters App. Safety first! No drinking and riding! SERIOUSLY. Your safety is important to us - please no drinking and driving! We decided to have this wedding in a city because of the ease of transportation and options. No need to get behind the wheel. There is street parking available for those of you planning to drive.

Question

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Outdoor Ceremony and Indoor reception. Weather Permitting* It is May in Denver. The weather should be nice but temperatures can drop after dark. Both are in the same location!

Question

What part of Denver should I stay in?

Answer

📍 Two Primary Options Option 1 -> Stay near us (Old Town Arvada) Great if you want a quieter weekend, maybe hanging out at home with us. Example landmark: Bonfire Burrito — 5800 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80002. Good food and casual vibes nearby. (We live 1 block from Bonfire) Option 2 -> Stay near the wedding (Santa Fe Arts District / Space Gallery) Much more convenient for ceremony/reception. Venue: Space Gallery — 400 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80204. This neighborhood is walking distance to many galleries, restaurants, and creative energy. ***Neighborhoods to Be Selective About*** We love Denver, but some areas are more busy and can feel less safe, especially for newcomers or late at night. If you stay in these areas, just plan accordingly: Downtown Denver / LoDo / Ballpark District: Lots of energy and things to do, but also noisy, busy, and parking can be tricky. Union Station area: Beautiful, central, walkable, but expect higher prices + possible congestion. Uber or transit can help though. ***Neighborhoods We Recommend*** Here are safer, still fun, and well-loved Denver neighborhoods that tend to balance convenience, charm, and comfort: Capitol Hill — Very central, lots of character, walkable to many restaurants, but parking may be limited. The Highlands / Sloan’s Lake — Trendy, quiet in many parts, great views and good food. Cheesman Park / Congress Park / Washington Park — More residential, green spaces, calmer, still fairly close to everything. Cherry Creek — Upscale, elegant, lots of shopping/dining, though a little more expensive. Wash Park (Washington Park) — Known to be one of the safer neighborhoods in Denver. Helpful Tips If you stay near Union Station, you can take the train to/from the Denver airport. Uber/Lyft rides to Space Gallery from there are about 10 minutes and relatively reasonable. If you want quieter, more relaxed stay with parking— prioritize neighborhoods with residential feel vs. nightlife hubs - avoid downtown.
