Back in 2018, Marissa asked her childhood friend Julia the question that started it all: "Does Karl (her now husband) have any friends I would find cute?" Julia didn’t even have to think about it: "Actually, I think you’d really like Anthony." After a quick Instagram follow and the realization that they had way too many mutuals for people who hadn't met, Marissa was shocked to find out Anthony was actually from Stuart. A few weeks later, the universe (and the Crafted Keg) did its thing. Anthony walked in....technically on a date with someone else...but Julia made the intro anyway, and the rest was history. They spent the remainder of that Christmas break inseparable before navigating long-distance between Jacksonville, FSU, and eventually Atlanta. They finally closed the gap for good when Anthony moved to Atlanta in 2020, later making their way back to Florida to plant roots in Tampa. Seven years, three cities, and two dogs later, they’ve traded the unknown for 'always': a home with Buddy and Steve and a lifetime of adventures ahead.
