Our Story

finally, a good match

Dating in the modern age is ROUGH. You can't put a lot of faith in online dating and, now that remote work and no-contact options are in high demand, there isn't as high hopes for a lil meet-cute. Despite all this every once in a while there comes a rare find, but you still have to sift through the toxic pool of matches and experience a few terrible dates. We found our great love through a screen at the perfect time for both of us, and we hope others find theirs in their own time. We met on Facebook Dating. Siarrah never took online dating seriously, she always had something ridiculous in her bio that only a few would catch the reference of or would actually comply with the request. This round (yes she deleted and restarted multiple times) was to send a letter as to why applicants believed they were right for the position. Paul has always had a thing for short girls with glasses, but something about this short girl with glasses was captivating. He wrote a corporate style email that read as follows: Well, let me start off by saying a bit about myself. I am a 28-year-old workers compensation insurance adjuster (exciting, I know). I love to play games (not with your heart), board games, video games, card games. I do like to get out frequently, I am both introverted and extroverted if that makes sense. I like to believe myself something of a funny guy, if that is something that interests you. Lastly, I find you incredibly stunning and would be humbled an honored at a chance to acquire this position. All the best, Paul. Siarrah responded in kind and we spoke in this corporate email format until the following day. It was this silly little start that made the connection feel so easy, like we had always been there. We understood each others humor, respected each others work, and listened to each others personal story. The empathy we share and safe space we have created for one another serves as the foundation on which we will build our future on.
