FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can)! Please RSVP by August 6, 2018 using the RSVP card that came in the mail. If you want to be an overachiever and make sure we received your reply, you can also submit through our RSVP section here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/loerjackson-ward/rsvp. Please note, that you must RSVP using your name the way it was printed on the envelope.

Question

What time should I be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m on October 6, 2018. We kindly ask that you arrive a few minutes prior so that you're not in a race with the brides down the aisle. Because, well, that would be embarrassing. To help with this, our shuttle services will be sure to get you there on time.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a lot of great friends and family, which means + 1s are limited. In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail or call us with any questions!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we both act like children sometimes, this is an "adults" only wedding. "Adults," in this case, means 15 years old and up. While we would love to host entire families, and love ALL of your children, we cannot accommodate everyone. We hope this does not preclude people from coming, but we completely understand if it does.

Question

Are there other wedding weekend events I’m invited to?

Answer

Everybody is invited to the pre- and post-wedding festivities! For more details, please visit this page: https://www.zola.com/wedding/loerjackson-ward/event.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! AKA no "shit kickers," jeans, or t-shirts. (That's what we meant when we were being fun with alliterations by indicating "Fall Formal" on the invitation.) ...just remember: no shoes, no shirt, no service.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

There will be shuttles provided from Rocheport and Columbia to and from Blue Bell Farm. More information to come.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking on the farm property, although we HIGHLY encourage taking our shuttles or an Uber/Lyft so you can let loose and be safe.

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Oh yes there will! We will have appetizer/cocktail/lawn game hour, an open bar throughout the evening, as well as a Mexican-themed dinner menu and delicious desserts! PLEASE note that no outside alcohol is allowed on the farm property. Please drink the beer/wine/liquor provided on-site so that we don't upset the owners and incur a hefty fine. We promise you won't be hungry or thirsty.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please e-mail us at lezgetjackward@gmail.com to let us know! We want you to be safe and comfortable!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. Seriously. But because you asked, we have a centralized registry through Zola that can be accessed here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/loerjackson-ward/registry.

Question

How do I contact you if I have other questions?

Answer

Step 1. Scour through our website, you are smart. Step 2. Phone a friend or family member. Step 3. Have a drink, then repeat steps 1 and 2. Step 4. If your cup is empty and your question is still relevant, bashfully e-mail us at lezgetjackward@gmail.com. Step 5. Show up, and hope for the best.
