FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we want all of our friends and family to dress up with us! Please show up in Semi-Formal attire. This means no shorts or t-shirts and no need to wear a ball gown! Please no white dresses.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my child/children?

Answer

No, while we love your kids and are sure they would love to join our celebration, we are having a child free wedding. If we included your kids that would greatly add to the guest count, as mentioned earlier we do have a guest limit per the venue. The only children that will be attending are immediate family. We hope you can find child care and enjoy the night out!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your plus one is invited, it will be included when you RSVP. If you feel as though we may have forgotten your plus one, please let one of us know, but we do have a limited guest count per our venue, and hope you can understand.

Question

What hotel should I stay at?

Answer

We recommend the hotels that are listed in the Travel tab, or to find an AirBnB.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony starts promptly at 4 pm. We highly recommend that you arrive at 3:30 pm to get settled. If you arrive late, please wait for the reception/ cocktail hour to join and avoid interrupting the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. While the cocktail hour will be held in a covered outdoor patio and the reception will be in an indoor area for dinner with large bay doors to open for a breeze in the summer weather. We will be outside on grass for the ceremony, so we recommend any heels worn have a wider heel.

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" which means no phones or cameras out while the ceremony is taking place. We want our guests to be fully present while we get married and say "I do." There will be plenty of time for pictures and videos after the ceremony is concluded. We have also hired a wonderful photographer to capture the day for us and will share those once we receive them!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please just let us know! We will do the best that we can to accommodate you!
