Neill Crook, the bride's best man, owns this bar! Obviously the bride and groom's favorite bar, Mayawell is a cocktail bar with an emphasis on tequila and mezcal (i.e. the best margaritas in Birmingham).
Automatic Seafood and Oysters
Birmingham's best restaurant - and the groom's favorite *fancy* restaurant. Semifinalist for the 2020 James Beard Best New Restaurant (ah, if only those award winners had been named!). Fantastic brunch, dinner and oysters anytime. Pro tip: Come here before or after a cocktail at Mayawell.

Wonderful place for a walk. Zillow and Rover ranked Birmingham as the #5 most dog-friendly city because of urban trails like Railroad Park. (If you visit next year, this trail will be extended!)

Lochrane's favorite place in Birmingham. The Bierdstadt is spectacular.

New Orleans Po'Boys, gumbo, boudin and bar. Groom's favorite lunch dive. Wu-Tang forever.

Go-to date night restaurant by Frank Stitt, the James Beard Award-winning chef who put Birmingham on the culinary map. The bride and groom can be found at the bar with the Hamburger Fonfon.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
The rose garden will be beautiful in April. Delightful place for a stroll just outside of Mountain Brook Village.
Back Forty Beer Company Birmingham
Bride's favorite brewery. Incredible food - from the kale Caesar to the burger. Fun views of Sloss Furnaces and the railroad.
El Barrio
Best quesadillas in town. The bride and groom had margaritas here on our first date.
