Allie Boy’s
Breakfast: We recommend stopping here for a quick breakfast sandwich if you arrive early Saturday, or for a hangover cure on Sunday. These are some of the best bagels/bagel sandwiches you will find in Milwaukee. Be prepared to wait in line, or you can order online for pickup.
Grebe's Bakery
Breakfast: Some of the best donuts you will find in the area. The earlier the better in the morning for a great selection of flavors.
Blue's Egg + Bakery
Breakfast: An amazing breakfast and brunch restaurant in Milwaukee with more of a cozy old diner feel. One of Kylie and Logan's first breakfast places they tried when moving to the area, and one of their favorites to this day. You will need to make a reservation a couple of weeks in advance as this is one of the most popular breakfast spots in the area.
Zisters
Breakfast/Lunch: A sit down restaurant for breakfast or brunch. A great place to go if you love eggs Benedict or French toast, as they have these options in flights! There is indoor or outdoor seating available with live music usually playing in the Summer for brunch.
Sobelmans on St. Paul
Breakfast/Lunch: The biggest and best Bloody Mary's you will find in Milwaukee. A must for on your way back home on Sunday.
West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe
Breakfast/Lunch: This is one of Kylie's favorite places to stop. A true Wisconsin shop and cafe with food made out of local cheeses and sausage. Also great for Bloody Mary lovers!
Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria
Lunch/Dinner: More of a casual Mexican restaurant to grab a bite to eat. If you go here, you MUST try their queso. Also located along the river with outdoor patio seating.
Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club
Dinner: A supper club in Wauwatosa. Inspired by classic Wisconsin Northwoods lodges and supper clubs from the 1940s-1960s, offering modern takes on regional dishes like Friday Fish Fry, prime rib, craft cocktails, and a nostalgic, cabin-like atmosphere with games.
Maxie's
Dinner: One of Kylie and Logan's favorite restaurants in the Milwaukee area, known for its Southern cuisine and offers BBQ, seafood, and comfort food. It also features an oyster bar for oyster lovers.
Dorsia
Dinner: You will need to make a reservation a few weeks in advance to dine here, but has amazing modern Italian cuisine and pasta flights. There is also a bar with an amazing beer, wine and cocktail list. A must for those that love pasta and have never been.
Onesto
Dinner: A slightly nicer Italian restaurant known for its handmade pastas and extensive wine and craft cocktail list. This is located in the third ward.
Harbor House
Dinner: A restaurant on the expensive side, has a great view of Lake Michigan from the outdoor patio as well as of the Milwaukee Art Museum. If you love seafood and cocktails, you will love the Harbor House.
The Outsider
Drinks: If you are staying at the Journeyman Hotel, make sure to go to the rooftop and check out The Outsider Bar. This bar is also open to the public (even if you are not staying), just go directly through the lobby to the elevator. Drinks are on the pricier side. We plan to end the wedding night here as well!
Tied House Milwaukee
Drinks: A popular cocktail bar in the Historic Third Ward, known for its innovative drinks, cozy atmosphere, and themed menus, located in a historic 1904 building that was once a "tied house" (a brewery-controlled tavern). This place has an awesome backyard outdoor patio, perfect for grabbing drinks in the Summer.
Camp Bar | Third Ward
Drinks: A Northwoods themed bar that has a cozy, rustic cabin atmosphere. Offers craft beers and cocktails. Some nights there is even live music, so check into their online schedule.
Lost Whale
Drinks: A cocktail bar with amazing cocktails, there is also an outdoor patio. More of a hippie vibe than the others.
Eagle Park Brewing Company
Drinks: A great brewery with great food.
Lucky Joe's Tosa
Drinks: A small cocktail bar in Wauwatosa. If you are planning on eating at Buckatabon, make sure to walk over to Lucky Joe's for a couple of cocktails as well!
Station No. 06
Drinks: A little out of Milwaukee but here are some of the best cocktails and atmosphere you will find in the area.
