Question

What happens if CoronaVirus restrictions don’t lift?

Answer

We realize there is uncertainty around the CoronaVirus. But, we believe we are in the clear! We have moved from an indoor reception to an outdoor tent to allow for more space and social distancing, if people so desire. So, with things opening up more and more daily, we don't believe there will be an issue with us gathering at the Lord’s Land!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP online by July 1st. We realize there is a lot of uncertainty around the Corona Virus. As of now, we don't believe there will be an issue with us gathering at the Lord’s Land. We are keeping a close look at the State of California guidelines for gatherings, and if things change we will let everyone know by June 23rd if the celebration will be postponed.

Question

I want to buy you a wedding gift! What can I get you guys to start your first year of marriage?

Answer

First, please don't feel obligated to get us a gift! We know finances are a little tight due to the CoronaVirus, so feel free to bring yourselves! With that said, if you would like to help us build a home, our registry is linked on this site with some fun things we would love! If you would like to get creative and do something different, that is okay too! We're just excited to celebrate with all of you!

Question

I can’t find a cabin on the Lord's Land, where should I stay?

Answer

There are beautiful places to stay within a short drive of the Lord’s Land. You can explore them on AirBnb, VRBO, and other travel websites.

Question

Is alcohol allowed?

Answer

The Lord’s Land does not allow alcohol on the property. There will be no alcohol at the rehearsal dinner or the reception. We appreciate your willingness to honor their policy.

Question

Is the rehearsal dinner open to everyone?

Answer

Everyone is welcome to attend the rehearsal BBQ Friday evening, the more the merrier. We are planning to cook lots of food, enjoy a campfire and spend time together with our family and friends. We might even have some s’mores. Please be sure to RSVP via the website... or you may be s’more-less.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden/beach attire. Ladies: wear maxi dresses, sundresses, floral prints. Men: wear a button-up. You may want to bring a sweater, as Mendocino can be a bit foggy in July.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Daily temps in July are typically in the low to mid 60’s. The weather is always changing, so make sure to check the weather online before you pack for the weekend!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outside in the field. And the reception will be outside under an open-air tent!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the families of the bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the gazebo for snacks, refreshments, and games. Feel free to grab a snack and beverage, and explore the gardens, fields, and forests. At 5:30pm, the reception will begin and dinner will be served.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking at the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to the size of the venue. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out to Brittany or Jason if you have questions about your specific invitation.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Dinner and refreshments will be served at the reception.

Question

If you still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Call, text, or email either Brittany or Jason.
