FAQs

Question

How do you pronounce Coneybeare?

Answer

CAW-knee-bear (it's Scottish!)

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The earlier the better! Please let us know if you will be joining us by January 4.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're thrilled to celebrate our special day with our nearest and dearest! To ensure an intimate and meaningful experience, we've carefully selected each guest by name on the invitation. If your invitation doesn't explicitly list a guest, we kindly ask that you join us solo.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you, but we certainly understand that some of our nearest and dearest might not be able to join us on our wedding day. Please RSVP "no" at your earliest convenience, and know that your well wishes still mean the world to us!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence and love on our wedding day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to buy us a present, we would be more than thankful. On the registry tab of this website, we have listed some cash funds that we find meaningful as we begin our married life. Zola makes it easy to contribute to these online! If you'd like to gift us a boxed present, please mail it directly to our home in Georgia if possible. We will be flying to California for the wedding, and might not be able to bring boxed gifts home with us. Thank you for understanding, and for your generosity!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask our guests to wear cocktail attire--think tea-length to long dresses, heels or dress shoes, suits and ties. No jeans, shorts, or flip flops, please! Here's a great article on cocktail attire at weddings: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire Please note, the ceremony will take place in a Catholic church. We ask that you dress appropriately for a place of worship during the ceremony portion of the day

Question

Will it be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. There will be an outdoor cocktail hour at the reception.

Question

What should I expect for the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be a nuptial mass including scripture readings, exchange of vows, holy communion, and a blessing. If you've never been to a Catholic wedding, they are typically about an hour in length.

Question

What do I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will conclude with a couple of hours to spare before the start of cocktail hour at our reception venue. This is a great time to head back to your hotel and get some rest before the party, especially for our guests who have children. For our guests looking for activities, we have curated some recommendations on the "things to do" tab of this website. For our out-of-town guests, you will be delighted by the many great breweries and delicious food options in the South Bay area (but don't get too full before dinner!)
