Once upon a part-time job in November 2022, we met. Just once. No grand entrance, no rom-com soundtrack playing in the background. Just two people, probably tired from work, crossing paths for a brief moment. But something clicked. Fast forward to 2023 — we finally planned our first date. Exciting, right? Well… not quite. The rain had other plans. Our big moment got rained out, literally. Classic UK weather — always keeping things dramatic. Then came New Year’s Day, 2024. I woke up to a message from him, casually saying happy new year my wife to be No warning. No build-up. Just straight to the point — and honestly, I didn’t hate it. 😅 A few months later, around May, he hit me with an invitation I couldn't resist: an amala date. That’s right — not a fancy dinner, not a walk by the beach — amala. And let me tell you, that bowl of soft, stretchy goodness was the beginning of everything. We laughed, we talked, we bonded over soup and swallows… and just like that, something beautiful began. From a rainy almost-date to a romantic amala moment — we’re still writing our story, one bite (and one belly laugh) at a time.
