Lauren moved to Milwaukee in 2019 to attend Physician Assistant School at Marquette. During her first week in the city, she wanted to make new friends and play volleyball. She made her way to Bradford Beach. Kenny happened to be on the beach that day looking for people to play volleyball. Lauren courageously asked him if she could join. Little did Kenny know they would be joining for life.
