Downtown Asheville is where you can grab a drink from a local brewery, have a bite to eat at some of the best dining options in the southeast ( try Tupelo Honey!), peruse art galleries filled with pieces from local artisans, and listen to some local musicians. There is plenty of shopping as well from chic boutiques!
The Grove Park Inn is a historic hotel in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers delicious restaurants ( we recommend the Sunset Terrace or The Blue Ridge Room) and bars where you can grab and drink and soak in the beautiful view of the mountains. This hotel has countless famous guests including former presidents and famous authors. We love to walk around and see the beautiful architecture and history.
The Biltmore Estate is a historic landmark that was known as America's Largest Home. It is a marvel of elegance and charm. You can tour the stunning home and learn it's history, explore the grounds, and enjoy a free wine tasting at their winery. The property also has restaurants and some shopping.
This is America's favorite drive for a reason. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a great way to take in the beauty of the mountains. With multiple overlook stops and stunning views throughout, you will be awestruck by what you see. We recommend eating at the Pisgah Inn if you get a reservation!
