Jammie & Lloyd didn’t meet at the mall, the grocery store, in college, not through a mutual friend, as this is the traditional way of dating. They both have very similar but different lives, “very busy people.” Jammie’s a business owner and Lloyd works in law enforcement. Therefore it made sense for the both of them to try something new! They’d like to share their authentic way of how they met and fell over the hills for one another. Although the two of them pondered back and forth whether they wanted to share how they met, but needless to say they were both old school and accustomed to the traditional approach of dating. However, They decided to go for it and share their true love story! This is their Story: Jammie and Lloyd met December of 2016 on “Black People Meet” Jammie’s profile displayed on Lloyd’s profile feed, Lloyd immediately felt an instant attraction viewing her profile, Lloyd sent Jammie a message saying that he was interested. They communicated for several weeks online and decided to exchange numbers. They communicated with each other via text, and eventually arranged a date to meet in person. They agreed to meet at The Original Pancake House at the Beverly location for their first date. They enjoyed great food and conversation, Discovering that they lived in the same community and their children attended the same schools. They hit it off to a great start immediately! Jammie was so intrigued about how handsome, intelligent and funny Lloyd was, and agreed to go on a second date. Throughout their courtship they went on numerous dates. Every restaurant you can think of, comedy shows, movies, Broadway shows, plays, concerts, you name it, they did it, dated each other, allowing themselves a chance to get to know one another. They traveled to many different places together Jamaica, Miami, Atlanta, to name a few. They visited various resorts, beaches and fancy hotels. Lloyd would surprise Jammie with flowers he sent to her salon almost every month. She would receive gifts from him on a regular basis that expressed his love for her. They were so invested in their relationship they read “The five love languages” by Gary Chapman together. Reading this book, allowed them to recognize their love language, in turn elevated a higher level of greatness and respect to their relationship. Their love for each other grew stronger every day. Lloyd always complimented Jammie on how beautiful and intelligent she was and how proud he was to be her boyfriend, they were inseparable. They talked on the phone for hours daily, spent quality time with each other, they felt as though they were experiencing their young adulthood all over again, experiencing butterflies each time they came in contact with one another. They refer to each other as “Baby!” They are BFF’s. Their relationship was destined to be, they compliment each other in every aspect. Lloyd got his “Swag Back!” After six years of courting and having so much fun together, the two of them decided it was time to tie the knot! Lloyd surprised Jammie February, 2023 at her hair salon with their proposal. Jammie was super happy and excited, she cried the entire time! She even had everyone else in the salon sobering! Jammie said “YES!”She is finally going to be her BFF and soulmate wife, most importantly to be called Mrs. Jammie Huddleston! You see fate brought this couple together even though they didn’t meet the traditional way, When God connect two souls together that is meant to be, he will undeniably create an powerful relationship!
