We're getting married

December 2013: No girl wants to get hit on in the middle of a set, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to find your soulmate-or should we say swole-mate at the gym. We met at our local gym, 24-hour fitness, in Lakewood, CA. If you know us, you would not be surprised that we locked eyes in the gym, as health and fitness are two essential things in our lives. Lonnie was finishing a late-night workout while cooling down in the sauna when Louis "happened" to be in the sauna already, ironically. Louis hit Lonnie with that Baltimore accent, and the rest was history. Both indecisive Libras who also spend a lot of money eating out, we found that we had a lot of similar passion and interests that ultimately made us the perfect blend. Our friendship through the years eventually grew into something so unique and sacred that we knew we wanted to hold on to each other for life. We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Corona on April 30th!

It took some convincing(as COVID-19 was still killing the social vibe), but Lou got Lonnie to join him for an NYE Eve Dinner in Hollywood, CA. The dinner location was special because Lonnie had wanted to visit since Lou took her back in 2014. After dinner and drinks, we patiently waited for the midnight clock to strike. Just a few minutes before midnight, Lou grabbed Lonnie's hand, shared a heartfelt speech about our relationship history, dropped down to one knee, opened the exclusive ring box, and asked her to marry him.
