She Said: The first time I laid eyes on Jason was in Grace Kids. Curious to know who he was, I did what anybody would do nowadays and sought him out on Facebook. As time went by I noticed Jason talked about going to the fair and my roommate and I were already planning on going. The fact that Jason and I didn’t like carnival rides and enjoyed the delicious fair foods, it was a win-win to go together. Our first date was at The Loop where we shared our pain, joy, and tribulations... followed by coffee at Starbucks (he knew I was a coffee addict). The way to my heart is coffee. As time went on Jason and I were official. Through all the pain, joy, trial & error , learning, and growing we made it to Duke Gardens, where I said Yes! He Said: The first time I met Asia-Marie at Grace Church, I could tell she was smitten by my ruggedly handsome good looks and manly scent of attraction. Nevertheless time went on. It was a crisp fall day, and I needed someone to travel to the NC State Fair with, to share in the delicious heart attack of greasy foods. Asia-Marie responded that she and her roommate were planning on going and it would be cool to go together. "Dinner Friday?" I asked coyly, stating my need for sustenance. She accepted and we journeyed to The Loop in Chapel Hill. We talked for hours and her conversation was genuine and refreshing as she opened up about her imperfections and fears in her own life. From there we talked more each day until finally the writing was on the wall, we were a couple. After a year of learning, growing, joy, pain, and lots of llama pictures, she said yes at the Duke Gardens.
