We met while working at the Apple Store. Soon after joining the same team, we began to get closer. After realizing we lived in the same city (Hialeah, FL), we began hanging out. We both went through breakups not long after, but we were committed to just staying friends. This did not last long (I’m sure our friends can attest to our awkward flirting). I remember inviting her over to watch the Super Bowl (I don’t even watch football) and feeling nervous around her because I knew I liked her and wanted to be more than friends. I respected our friendship, but I knew in my soul that I wanted to be with her, so on Valentine’s Day in 2013 I made the move and we shared our first kiss in my car in the front yard of Michelle’s House (the Matron of Honor). Two days later, while on what was supposed to be a group hangout at an ice rink, but ended up being a date (thankfully everyone bailed on us) I asked her if she would be my girlfriend while we stopped to take a breath from skating. She said yes and we kissed. We transfered over to the bleachers to kiss some more, a romantic moment made funny by some kids who ended up skating by and making fun of us.
