You see there’s this app…. Just kidding. There was a bond made over sweet tea and dark humor at a Friendsgiving that kept us intrigued. Kate forgot her glasses and had to go back, Logan’s friend was peeking over his lady’s shoulder as Kate asked who was still there and gave Logan the nod. And we haven’t stopped talking since. We counted our dating “anniversary” to be one of the next few times we spent together… New Years 2020. We all know the world shut down for a while but we continued to date and get to know each other through it all. Through sickness and health they say.. right? I had put us on quarantine due to getting it and that was the longest 14 days of our lives! Fast forward to so many life changes and many trips and adventures, someone had the silly idea we should buy a house. It was quite the process but we now have a beautiful new construction home. First comes love, then comes house, well what’s next? Puppy! We got our beautiful Stella Mae and have loved her to the core since. On November 4th with all kinds of attempted plans falling through, Logan went out to his tool box in the garage to grab the ring he had been hiding. He had intended to wait until after our dinner date but we all know Kate called him out for acting weird before they even left the house. Logan’s nervousness and excitement made all of Kate’s dreams come true the second he got down on one knee! And the rest? Y’all get to help us write!
