As every modern love story goes...a dating app saved the day. Caleb and LK met in the Fall of 2022 in Lubbock, Texas over plates of tikka masala and a conversation about Bigfoot. Soon enough, casual dates turned into watching countless hours of tennis coaching and supporting weekly graduate school meltdowns. Surviving on Sonic drinks and late night ice cream runs, they settled into a happy relationship. In the Summer of 2023, Caleb and LK took a plunge and packed up their 5 cats and drove the 615 miles to Kearney, Nebraska. There they learned about winter, Midwesterners, vet bills, pickleball, and how to live the lives they always wanted for themselves. The rest is history.
