Doug and LJ have been friends since they could walk. They grew up loving horses together and their friendship has continued to flourish over the years. LJ is beyond grateful to have Doug in her life and couldn't imagine anyone but him smiling and laughing with her as she gets ready to say "I do" on December 16th.
Peter Coesel
Best Man
Peter and Wylie have been friends since high school. They are both avid tennis players and although Wylie has never actually bested Peter, he keeps striving to meet that goal. All jokes aside they have supported each other through the best and worst of times and he couldn't imagine anyone else by his side when he asks LJ to be his wife.
Drew, Jaden and Kaia Barker
Honorary Bridesmaids
Wylie's daughters - Drew, Jaden, and Kaia are going to be LJ’s honorary bridesmaids. LJ is overjoyed to have them be a part of this journey in marrying their dad. The three of them have become valued friends and confidants. These remarkable woman have all added to LJ’s experiences and understanding of Wylie. Drew has completed her undergraduate studies at UVIC with a double major and is currently living in Australia, following her passion for travelling the world. Jaden is soon transferring her studies to the coast to complete her undergraduate degree, fearlessly carving her path to the future. Kaia will finish her degree at UBC Okanagan, and with her love for animals, whatever field she chooses, creatures will undoubtedly play a part.
