Tulum Archaeological Site
Just a few minutes drive from the hotel, this ancient Mayan ruins site offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and a glimpse into Tulum's rich history.
Ukami
We loved Ukami! Japanese-Mayan fusion that’s totally unique to Tulum. Definitely a fun option if you’re craving something different from the usual beach fare.
Taboo Beach Club
Just a short walk from the hotel, Taboo is the spot for a fun, energetic beach day. Great food, refreshing cocktails, and a DJ playing at the beach club make it perfect for hanging out in the sun.
Escultura Ven a la Luz
Famous sculpture in Tulum that many people like to see at least once and take a photo. It was relocated in 2021. It is inside the Tulum Sculpture Park at Ahau Tulum Resort - right off the main beach road!
Checkpoint Ciao Pizzería
We went to Checkpoint Ciao and loved it! Their wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas are incredible, and the spritzes make it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or evening bite.
The Cenotes
There are so many private and public cenotes a bike or bus ride away from Tulum! They are typically free but check the hours and if there are fees. They are magical. Gorgeous teal waters, some under ground in caves. Highly recommend getting to them early so they are not too crowded! The Cenote Calavara and Grand Cenote are the closest.
La Malinche
You have to check out La Malinche, just a short walk from the hotel! The ceviche and drinks are amazing, the bartenders and service are incredible, and make sure you try the cricket mezcal shot. It’s the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a great meal.
Ziggy's Beach Club & Restaurant
Right on the sand with comfy loungers and good food/drinks. Perfect for a daytime chill session or a sunset cocktail.
Antonella
We loved Antonella—it’s connected to our resort, so super easy to get to! They’ve got amazing coffee, delicious lunch options, and a really chill vibe. Plus, they have a daily happy hour, so it’s a great spot to grab a cocktail.
Nômade
This wellness resort hosts complimentary fitness and wellness activities, including yoga and breathwork sessions. They also offer private experiences like Reiki and Temazcal ceremonies for a deeper connection to the local culture.
Karma
We went to Karma Tulum and loved it! The “Nest Experience” is so cool, perched above the jungle with incredible ocean views. They’ve got great food, drinks, and a really fun atmosphere. It’s such a unique spot to hang out.
