Joe has been my best friend since we met in early 2019. Our first "date" was a six hour car ride getting milkshakes, showing him around my hometown, and sitting by the lake. By our third date, Joe introduced me to his daughter, Gracelynn. It has been such a pleasure to get to know her, watch her grow, and become her step mom! Joe proposed December 1, 2019. We attended several wedding festivals and booked all of our vendors by late February 2020. We were proud to have the big plans done in such a short time. Our original date was November 28, 2020 with 50 close friends and family. It felt like I was counting down hours until our big day! In March, when COVID-19 made its unwelcome appearance in the US, Joe and I joked how awful it would be if we had to cancel our plans. By the end of April, I knew what needed to be done. We began to cancel everything and start from scratch. I never expected to plan a second wedding, especially with the same guy! Everyone in my circle has been kind, understanding, helpful, and so loving. We are blessed to have amazing family and friends to help us in so many ways. Joe and I are thrilled to celebrate our wedding... again! In the meantime, we're wishing you all strength, good health and happiness.
