Our Story

In 2017, an Oklahoma boy and a California girl accepted the same job in Denver just three months apart- Wilder in February and Lizzy in May. Her first week on the job, Lizzy was eating a quinoa salad at her desk when Wilder asked, "What's that weird lookin' rice you’re eating? Is that kween-oh?" Over the next couple of months, the small-town boy and the city girl hit it off; exchanging information of what the heck noodling is, and how on earth milk can come from an almond. They became inseparable; discovering that despite the near opposite environments in which they had grown up, they had quite a lot in common. They fell in love with each other and with the mountains, and became best friends all at the same time. Suitably, the morning Wilder proposed in Rocky Mountain National Park on January 3rd 2020, a blizzard hit and their car got stuck in the snow. Wilder pushed the car with Lizzy in it, and drove a few miles away where blizzard came to a halt. He popped the question at sunrise overlooking a stunning mountain view- no storm in sight. We can’t wait to celebrate our love, in a place we love, with the people we love most.
