We’re getting married!

Tylor and Lizzy met through the online dating app called Hinge. We both swiped right! We met in person about a week after connecting online. Our first date was at The Rack House on June 10. We had an instant, easy connection that continued to grow over the next weeks and months.

Tylor wanted to involve his kids in the proposal so each of them wrote letters to Lizzy. They had Lizzy over for dinner at the house a few days before Christmas. Eli and Addi each read their letters to Lizzy. They were so precious and heartfelt! Then Tylor got down on one knee and proposed. It was so special to share this moment with the kids!

Tylor was born and raised in a small town in northern Michigan. He joined the Navy in 2004 and was stationed down in Gulfport, MS at the Seabee base. He has had a successful military career and is currently a Chief. His greatest joy and achievement are his two children. Eli is 13 and Addi is 10. They keep him busy and on his toes.

Lizzy was born and raised in Gulfport, MS, and spent her high school years in the UP of Michigan after her family moved up north to live near her dad’s family. She went to college in St Louis and has lived in Wisconsin, DC, and Mississippi. She’s had a successful career in HR and small business operations. She’s excited to begin this new chapter of life as a wife and bonus mom.
