FAQ's

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is semi-formal attire. Please no jeans, hats, or streetwear.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends! However, due to venue limitations, we kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. This wedding will be 18+. If you have additional questions, please contact us directly!

Question

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Instead of a traditional plated dinner, we'll be serving a buffet inspired by local places we love with salads, charcuterie, bread baskets and vegetables alongside deep-dish and thin-crust pizza, fried chicken, Italian beef sandwiches, and crab rangoons.

Question

What traditions can we expect at the reception?

Answer

We'll be celebrating with some meaningful traditions including The Pittsburgh Cookie Table, a spread of homemade cookies generously baked by family members; The Bridal Dance, where guests are invited to pay a dollar to dance with the bride and take an optional celebratory shot afterward; and The Butt Dance, a long-standing family tradition on the groom's side wherein the 80's novelty song "Da Butt" plays and all the men at the reception take to the dance floor and shake their butts (this portion of the evening is non-optional).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Our venue can design menus to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher, and other dietary requirements to suit your needs.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot located at the entrance of our venue, as well as nearby street parking.

Question

What is the closest public transit to the venue?

Answer

Ravenswood Event Center is steps away from the Irving Park Brown Line.
