Taewon and I went to Cornell during the same time, but we didn't know each other back then. It was only after we had both graduated that Taewon's friend introduced us to each other. At the time, I was in Chicago and Taewon was in Arizona. For several months, we texted almost every day, without even having seen/met each other in real life (Taewon's company had strict COVID policies that basically prevented him from traveling). Then, in the fall of 2020, Taewon was finally able to visit me in Chicago. Despite this being our first-ever in-person interaction, we immediately clicked and started dating. We kept up our long-distance relationship for about 2 years, then got engaged in the fall of 2022. The rest is history :) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
