Train
Amtrak
Amtrak Trains run several times per day from NYC Penn Station to Albany Renssalaer station, about an hour’s drive from Manchester. The trains station is also the base for MegaBus. The Greyhound Bus has its own bus terminal in downtown Albany. From Albany, you can take a car service or uber for about $100 to Manchester. (If using a car service, call ahead to reserve.) You can rent a car from the station by calling Enterprise. Reserve ahead. There is a shuttle service for $17-$19.50 (one-way) directly from the Albany Airport or the Amtrak Rail Station in Albany/Rensselaer to Manchester. Schedule information is available at https://www.vttranslines.com/bus-schedules. Be sure to use “MCQ” as your destination station when booking your ticket on www.Amtrak.com and purchase your train and bus ticket together. (Return service also available to the Amtrak Station, using MCQ as your departure location.) The MCQ stop is at the nearby Equinox Hotel in Manchester Village.
