Junior and Lizzy first met in high school through mutual friends, he was a sophomore, she was a senior and what started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a close friendship. After Lizzy got a job with SAIF and Junior prepared to move to Nevada to play college football, their connection sparked again, stronger than before. They spent two years in a long-distance relationship, with Lizzy traveling back and forth from Oregon to Nevada, their love growing deeper with every visit. When Junior graduated, they finally began their life together under one roof in Oregon. On Valentine’s Day 2025, surrounded by all the years of history and love they had built, Junior asked Lizzy to marry him and she said yes.
