Jack had recently created an online dating account on Catholic Match, and soon found a profile with a beautiful young woman wearing a hat from his alma mater. He mentioned that he was also a graduate of Michigan State University, and all of a sudden his foot was in the door with his bride-to-be. Elizabeth was impressed right away with the priority both MSU and family had in Jack's life. Always a sucker for a tall man with a love for God and football, Elizabeth was excited to see where this might go! It wasn't long afterwards Jack's face would light up at work anytime he received a new message from Elizabeth. Their first date, in East Lansing, was wonderful! They bonded over their shared love of craft beer as Jack quickly learned of the wonderfully large and hectic family that Elizabeth came from. They were official in no time. They both made it clear early on that their intention was to discern if marriage was what God was calling them into. Just a few months later, after many more craft beer dates, nights together at adoration, and a family vacation to northern Michigan, they knew this was their happily ever after!
