We met in Davis in 2018 while Lizzy was attending UC Davis and Brian had started his first engineering job. After a few dates with a lot of friends and attempting to date long distance, we finally decided to settle in the same city and make our love story grow.

Our engagement story is one of our favorites. The day was special, but the months leading up to it hold true value. Both of Brian's parents were in on the planning and even got to see the ring he had picked out. We truly feel like they were with us at the beach on that day. We drove down to Monterey under the guise of a weekend of Lizzy's favorite things (Monterey Bay Aquarium and the beach). We took a stroll along Spanish Bay where Brian dropped to one knee....this is the part Lizzy doesn't remember because she was so nervous. We think she said yes!
