The Newburgh Waterfront
How about some lunch before the big day? Eat and drink at the many restaurants located down by the Hudson River waterfront in Newburgh. We love The River Grill and Billy Joe's Ribworks.
Explore Beacon
Beacon is one of our favorite towns in the Hudson Valley! Grab lunch at Melzingah Tap house and do some shopping along Main Street. Don't forget to stop and grab some donuts from Glazed Over Donuts before you leave.
Storm King Art Center
Storm King is an outdoor sculpture garden built on 500 acres of fields and forests. Wander through the meadows, check out some amazing sculptures, and bring a picnic lunch.
Take a Trip to The Catkills

Take a Trip to NYC
Want your mini vacation to be a bit more fast paced? Head down to the city! Either rent a car, or take the Metro North Train from Beacon to Grand Central (see details on the FAQ page). Go to Central Park, catch a Broadway Show, or head down to the Financial District and take the always free Staten Island Ferry for the best view of The Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan.
Rock and Roll Playhouse
Although the wedding is adults only, we know some of you may have brought your little ones to stay at the hotel or near the venue. Sunday morning, CWHV will be hosting Rock and Roll Playhouse, a kid-friendly Grateful Dead cover band.
