First Fridays at the Crossroads Art District!!!
If you are coming to Kansas City might as well get to know our city! One of the best ways to do that is probably by going to First Friday's at the Crossroads Art District. There will be tons of people walking from gallery to gallery, there will be food trucks, discounts at restaurants and bars, local artisan vendors, live music, you may even come across a dance battle... and then you may join said dance battle. It's pretty awesome. Country Club Plaza
If you wanna do a little shopping while still being surrounded by pretty things this is the place to go. The Country Club Plaza is architecturally inspired by Seville, Spain therefore it's just a nice place to walk around. Don't forget to stop at Kaldi's Coffee or Scooter's! - Lizzy future Atwood

Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que

Union Station
Probably one of the coolest building in Kansas City. It sits across from the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Apart from being an active train station there are also cool seasonal exhibits, great coffee and great food. It’s seriously beautiful inside. There is also a Science center for kids. The seasonal exhibit right now is Dinosaurs Revealed.
