Carly and Archer became friends at a pre-college event, and he introduced Carly and Lizzy freshman year! They bonded through shared classes and college athletics, building a deep friendship throughout their years at CCU. Carly has been so intentional in prioritizing friendship throughout college, graduating, starting careers, moving, and all of the crazy adult transitions that have come along. Carly has been a steadfast, loving, and encouraging presence throughout Lizzy and Archer's entire relationship, speaking life and wisdom into Lizzy. Lizzy and Carly are incredibly thankful that Archer brought together such a beautiful friendship!
Kale Meyer
Best Man
Kale and Archer became friends during their second year of college. After many adventures hiking, off-roading, and watching UFC weekly, they became roommates in the basement of James and Amy’s home while Kale finished his senior year. Since then, they have stayed friends traveling around the country on adventures together. Kale has been a strong and dedicated friend for Archer throughout his relationship, and Archer is grateful to have him as best man!

Catey has become such a dear and meaningful part of our lives, and Lizzy feels especially grateful for the close friendship they’ve built. She’s truly like a big sister—so fun, loving, and endlessly welcoming. She’s always there for girl talk, offering wisdom, encouragement, and the kind of steady presence that has meant so much to Lizzy as both a friend and a mentor. From the very beginning, she has opened her home and her heart to us, making it feel like ours too. We’re so thankful for the way she shows up for us and for the warmth, guidance, and joy she brings into our lives.

We’ve loved the many game nights he’s hosted, creating space for connection, laughter, and some friendly competition. We’re so grateful for the role he’s played not only in Archer’s life, but in our relationship as well.

Aubrie came into our lives when she married Lizzy’s cousin Micah, and it didn’t take long for her to feel like family in every sense of the word! Lizzy and Aubrie quickly bonded over their shared love of fantasy books, playing board and Nintendo games, and long phone calls that always seem to fly by. She brings such a fun, easy, and joyful presence into our lives and our relationship, and it’s been so special getting to grow close to her. We’re so grateful Micah brought Aubrie into the family—she truly makes everything more fun.

From playing games to exploring Colorado and Nebraska together and trying new foods, they’ve formed a bond that feels easy, fun, and genuine. Jenna has been such a special part of Lizzy’s life since grad school, where they grew side by side through their counseling program. When Lizzy moved to the Springs, Jenna was such a warm and welcoming presence, opening her home to both of us and making it feel like a place of comfort and connection. They’ve bonded over their shared career—now even working at the same clinic—as well as their love for cats, cozy nights, reality TV, and laughing through the hardest parts of being counselors. From long carpool rides to Denver during grad school to where they are now, Jenna has been such a steady, life-giving friend, and we’re so grateful for her.

Collin is one of Archer’s longest friendships, going all the way back to their time in Boy Scouts and continuing through reconnecting in college as roommates. From long carpool rides to Denver during their program to staying connected through life now, Sam has been such a fun and steady presence.
