Zeke and Lizzie met when he was asked to come over to Lizzie's apartment to help build a kitchen table with her and her roommates. While building the table they had great conversations and it was so easy for both of them to get to know each other. Then Zeke would try to have any excuse to see Lizzie and spend time together. After some time hanging out with friends in a group the two of them went to a last minute concert together to see Dan and Shay. While sitting in traffic for hours on the way there and back, time had just flown by while talking to each other. Then they went on an excursion to Joshua Tree with their friends and even though the evening had not gone as planned, they still made the best of it and developed stronger feelings for each other. The next day Zeke and Lizzie went on their first official date where Lizzie wanted to take a week apart to pray about their potential relationship and after that they both were certain their feelings for each other were real and not just in the moment.
