The Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry is a 15 minute ride and runs every 30 minutes. This route is primarily a drive-on car ferry with walk on & bike on options. Look out for the ferry queue of cars waiting on the right shoulder of the roadway and posted signage. During peak commuting hours in the AM & PM, and especially busy weekends, please plan for extra waiting time and the possibility of ferry delays (~2 hours to downtown Seattle)! Fingers crossed for sun or overcast dry skies due to the Olympic Rain Shadow. This is a small region northwest of the city of Seattle which experiences significantly dryer and brighter weather than surrounding locations. Whidbey Island is usually chillier than Seattle by 5-10 degrees. Pack layers and bring your rain jackets, we will provide umbrellas and blankets at the ceremony.
