Liz and Kevin met at their first job out of college in 2014. Their first convo was sparked by their common "fun fact" during orientation about their love and passion for Pit Bulls. Kevin rescued his Pittie, Sosa, in college and Liz was patiently waiting for when she could rescue her own. A friendship developed, and a few months later they went out on their first date on St. Patrick's Day weekend, because what's more romantic than pub crawls and green beer. Throughout the years they've lived by “Travel. Your money comes back, your time doesn't." Annual vacations usually involve a Caribbean beach and endless Rum Punches, but they've also traveled to Europe and their all-time favorite, Disney World. They've successfully survived long-distance between Boston and New York while Kevin pursued his dreams, and between London and New York while Liz pursued hers. Liz finally made the move to New York in May 2018, because she missed Sosa, I mean Kevin!, too much. A little over a year later, for Liz’s 28th birthday, Kevin told Liz her birthday surprise was a night out back in Boston with her friends. But the true surprise came when he dropped down on one knee in the middle of The Esplanade and asked her to marry him. She said yes!! An even bigger surprise came on their drive back to New York when they got a call about a 2 month old Pit Bull puppy in a box behind a KFC in Queens. Unprepared to bring a puppy into their new engaged life but being the pittie lovers that they are, they rescued their 2nd pup, Leo. Needless to say, their life together is never dull. Their free time consists of playing with their energetic pups, binging Netflix, seeing all the new Marvel movies and never passing up an opportunity to try out a new bar, brewery or restaurant with friends or family. Liz and Kevin can't wait to start this new chapter in their journey, and they are so excited to have you be a part of their special day!
