Josh and Lizzie met their freshman year of college at NC State's Metcalf Hall in 2014. They quickly became great friends, and after a few years of friendship, in the summer of 2017, they started officially dating. Some of Josh and Lizzie's favorite memories include hiking the NC and TN mountains, traveling to the beach and the mountains, cooking fun recipes while listening to music, and watching new shows. Josh proposed to Lizzie at their favorite place, Beech Mountain, NC. Josh had an entire day planned (which was unusual) where Lizzie thought he would propose either on their hike or vineyard visit. Long story short, Josh did not propose during their outing and was instead distracting Lizzie so their two close friends, Jack and Ivy, could prepare the cabin they were staying in all afternoon for Josh to pop the question. Once they made it back to the cabin, he proposed, and it was the most special and emotional moment! We are so lucky that we've found each other, and we can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in November 2023!
