When should I confirm my travel plans by?

Answer

Fredericksburg is a busy town. You should make reservations for travel and lodging ASAP. Prices will continue to rise as the wedding date approaches due to tourism in the city.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! But for our wedding celebration, we ask that kids not attend with the exception of the children in Joel and Lizzie's immediate family.

Is there transportation from the hotels to the ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have transportation from the hotels in town to Contigo Ranch. We will establish a central meeting spot for all who wish to travel via our transportation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your formal invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal: suits and cocktail dresses. We also want everyone to be comfortable so that all can join in the dancing and exploring the ranch!

You should RSVP by August 25, 2021.

What can we expect the weather to be?

Answer

Fredericksburg can remain hot even into October! The ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be inside and outside. Dinner will take place inside with dancing taking place on an outdoor dance floor and patio.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at the venue. The ceremony will take place on a bluff that will have a parking area and the reception hall will have parking as well.
