As many know, Gavyn and I have quite a history together. Our love story starts 12 years ago. In 2014 my whole world seemingly flipped upside down when I learned I had to switch schools and start 3rd grade with a new class. I was pondering about all the basic young child worries, would i know anyone? Would I fit in? Who would I talk to? Luckily a sweet redheaded boy was going through the same thing as me. Our connection wasn’t immediate, we bickered for the first 2-3 years of us sharing a class. Truth be told we were practically in two different worlds at first. It wasn’t until 5th grade Gavyn made the first move and admitted his crush on me. Things started small, our parents picked us up for small dates where we sat and listened to music for hours. We were “on and off” up to the end of 8th grade where we split ways after graduation. We moved on, grew apart, figured out life as high schoolers with no contact with one another, until our paths crossed again sophomore year. The connection was instant this time, we picked up exactly where we left off. We were inseparable and have stayed that way 5 years later. We have now grown together and only found more love for each other everyday. Our story isn’t perfect, but it’s my dream fairytale and is the one story that keeps me turning the page waiting for the newest chapters.
