Question

What does parking look like?

Answer

Please view the map above for an idea of where to park. There is one free parking lot with limited spots behind the venue. There will be a number of paid parking lots near the venue as well. Space in front of the venue will be roped off for those needing accessibility drop-off and pick-up.

Where is the Ceremony & Reception?

Answer

For ease to us and our guests, the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location. The Monarch Room 1701 McGee St, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64108 Following the ceremony, event staff will set up the reception area. Please help yourself to a drink and a snack during this time.

When should I arrive?

Answer

4:00pm To ensure you are able to find parking, make it into the venue, and find a seat we ask that you arrive around 4:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. If you are not able to be seated by 4:15pm we ask that you wait until the ceremony concludes before entering the event space.

How about dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal We want you to feel comfortable and confident in what you wear. The building will be heated but might be a bit chilly if you aren't busting a move on the dance floor. We do request that you do not wear jeans or white.

Can I take photos during the day?

Answer

We ask that all phones and cameras be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We chose our photographer for many reasons and will have her take photos of guests through the ceremony and reception. We'd hate for a special photo of you to be blocked by your phone. Please refrain from flash photos and be mindful of where you are during the reception so as to not get in the way of our photographer.

Will there be food?

Answer

We will have snacks between the ceremony and reception that will be available through the night. During the reception there will be a buffet-style dinner.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will have a selection of drinks to choose from for all of our guests. For our guests 21+ alcohol will be available. Please bring your ID, cash for tips, and have a plan with a sober driver, Uber, etc.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Much time and consideration went into curating our guest list. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate additional guests. We ask that only those addressed on the invitation attend. Thank you for being so understanding.
