FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lizzie Mellencamp and Corey Halford
We are so excited for this weekend and are counting down the days until it is here :-) If you have any other questions or want any clarification to those listed here, please reach out to us!
Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the Hawthorne House in Parkville, MO. The ceremony will be held indoors at their chapel and the reception will be held in the main house. It's all in one location! There will be a cocktail hour in between the ceremony that will hopefully be held on the main lawn (weather permitting, who knows in April!).

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking available next to the chapel and behind the main clubhouse at our venue :-)

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP online by March 18th, 2022 :-)

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM in the Hawthorne House Chapel. We recommend arriving around 4:30 PM to park and get settled in for a fun and fabulous night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We request a semi-formal or "dressy casual" attaire.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture one of the most important moments of our lives. However, after the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like! We promise to get the photos out to everyone as soon as we get them :-)

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair - except for our ringbearer!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest and we are keeping our guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless otherwise specified on your invitation. If you have any questions, reach out to us!

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

This is an ever-changing topic and we want to keep all of our loved ones super safe. As of now, we will be having this party as normal! We do request (though do not require) being vaccinated and boosted! If you are feeling ill near the time of the wedding, please let us know! We will also have an online stream of our ceremony available for those who do not feel comfortable attending in person. A link can be sent on by request, so please don't hesitate to ask us for that closer to the date!
