A classic New York City love story, Lizzie and Travis met “in the wild” at the cocktail bar Ms. Yoo in the Lower East Side in November 2022. The two hit it off instantly — especially when Travis successfully bribed the DJ to play Missy Elliott’s "Work It", Lizzie’s top request of the night. They shared their first kiss that evening — perhaps not realizing they’d go on to share a million more. Their first date came just a few days later, at L'Accolade in the West Village. From there, it was one amazing date after another, as they got to know each other and quickly realized how special their connection was. Together, Lizzie and Travis have traveled the world — visiting Italy, France, London, Tokyo, Singapore, California, their hometowns of Cary and Tampa, and more. Every adventure was filled with laughter, playful moments, probably too much PDA, and constant gratitude for having found their person. When they’re not jet-setting, Lizzie and Travis are happily playing tourists in their own city — soaking up every moment in the place they call home: New York. They love exploring all the delicious restaurants and cocktail bars the city has to offer, going on Sunday strolls, doing workout classes together, sunbathing on their rooftop, and testing new recipes from cookbooks. You’ll also find them cheering for the Jets, hanging out with friends, and finding joy in the little everyday adventures that make NYC feel endlessly exciting. On May 3rd, 2025, Travis got down on one knee and proposed at The Roxy, the very spot where they first said “I love you.” Now, they're so excited to begin this next chapter in Santa Barbara — a town they fell in love with during a Pacific Coast Highway road trip in the summer of 2024. The moment they arrived, they knew it was the place they wanted to say “I do.” Lizzie and Travis feel incredibly lucky — for the love they’ve found, and for the amazing family and friends who surround and support them. They can’t wait to celebrate this unforgettable moment with all of you.
