Hotels + Air Travel

The Wedding Website of Lizzie Deneen and Drew Lezon
An extra big thank you to everyone who will be coming in from out of town in order to celebrate with us! Here's some info on hotel + airport options for those who are interested. A NOTE ON LODGING For your convenience, we've secured blocks at two hotels that are particularly well-located with respect to the Rookery. For a discounted group rate, be sure to use the booking sites we've linked below. Of course, feel free to explore more broadly to find the option that works best for you. Hotels or AirBnbs that are a bit further away may be most cost-effective! If you do choose to stay a little further from the venue, please take care when moving through the city at night. As is true for many cities' financial districts, it's best to travel in groups and/or rely on ride share apps or taxis to get around after dark, especially when going longer distances.

Hotel

The LaSalle Chicago, Autograph Collection

208 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60604

For the greatest convenience, join us at the LaSalle Chicago, which is directly across the street from the Rookery. For a discounted group rate, use the following link to our hotel block.

Hotel

The Midland Hotel, Chicago, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

172 West Adams Street, Chicago, IL 60603

The Midland is just a few steps further and around the corner. Still a mere 2-minute walk door-to-door! For a discounted group rate, use the following link to our hotel block.

Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Both of Chicago's airports are solid options, but O'Hare is the best choice if you're planning to take public transit from the airport to the hotel. (Out of an abundance of caution, if you're coming in late at night, an Uber/Lyft may be the best option. But if you're arriving at a more typical time -- especially, rush hour!-- then the Blue Line is one of the most efficient ways to get to the Loop from the airport!) You can use a combination of airport signage and Google or Apple Maps to get solid directions to where you need to go, but the general gist is the following: Once you've picked up your checked bags, follow the signs in the terminal to the airport's light rail stations (Look for signs for the CTA Blue Line). Board the Blue Blue (toward Forest Park) and it will take you in to the city center (roughly a 45-minute ride). If you're staying near the Rookery, exit at the Jackson stop. From there it's a 6-min walk to either of the linked hotels.

Flight

Midway International Airport (MDW)

Midway Airport also has plenty of flight and airline options, albeit without the same public transit appeal as O'Hare. Plan to call an Uber or Lyft (or a friend!) for a drive into downtown.
