Brendan and Lizz first met at Armstrong High School where Brendan was a senior and Lizz was a junior. They were mostly friends on snap chat, sharing silly pictures and song recommendations to each other. Their first date was when Brendan brought Lizz to a MN Wild game, although that is not where their love story truly starts. They became more than "just friends" when Lizz ran into Adam Saaf at Blarney's Pub, and had him invite Brendan out. Brendan and Lizz were dancing to the song of a generation - Crank That (Soulja Boy) when Brendan realized he wanted to really get to know Lizz more. They were in the infamous "talking stage" for a few months before they realized they were basically dating without the label. They continued to date and spend time with each other every chance they could get. After 4 years of dating, they decided to move into an apartment together. Fast forward 3 1/2 years later, they went ring shopping and found the perfect one. Lizz did not know when Brendan was going to propose - she only gave him the instruction to not do it on a jumbotron at the Wild or Timberwolves games they would frequent. Brendan pulled it off perfectly - a week after their 7 year anniversary, they went to the Ice Castles which was one of their first official dates as a couple. They "coincidentally" ran into their friends McKenna and Abel, who were able to capture the proposal. All of their friends and family had the same reaction - "It's about time!!!" They are blessed with amazing friends and family who have supported them throughout their relationship and the many stages of life they have been through together.
