From co-writing stories in their spare time to having a 'no-TMI' policy on their daily chats, Elsa has been Lizz's right-hand woman for years. She’s the person Lizz goes to for everything, and we’re so happy she’s here to help us start our newest story.

DF has been by Avery’s side since their gaming days began back in 2012. After Lizz joined the chat, he officially transitioned into his role as our favorite professional third wheeler. Though we call him ‘Old Man,’ he’s got enough energy to be first in line for the wedding cake. We couldn't imagine saying 'I do' without our favorite plus-one!

Lizz’s cousin and the ultimate 'get-it-done' girl. Nellie is a powerhouse army momma who has been an absolute lifesaver during the planning process, stepping in to help with bridal shower and wedding duties. Married to Chuck, she’s the calm to his crazy, and we are so lucky to have her strength and heart by our side!

Groomsman
Every family needs a wildcard, and Chuck is ours. Married to bridesmaid Nellie, Chuck is taking on the dual role of Groomsman and Flower Guy. We knew we needed someone with 'professional levels of extrovert energy' to handle the petals, and Chuck was the only man for the job. Keep an eye out for him at the reception—he’ll be the one keeping the dance floor alive and the vibes at 100%.

Jordan and Lizz met while working at the hospital, where they quickly realized they shared more than just a shift. Between shared lunches and long chats about life (and maybe a little too much talking during work!), their professional relationship blossomed into a beautiful, friendship. We are so happy to have her trading the hospital badges for a bridesmaid dress on the wedding day!

Groomsman
Nathan and Lizz attended Calvary Bible University together. They built a friendship based on college family and Nathan received the name "uncle edgar." They both found commonalities in playing minecraft, pc's, tech work, and cats. Millie, Lizz's youngest cat, came from Nathan's bunch a year ago!
Malori Hodge
Bridesmaid
Malori is the daughter of Sandy’s lifelong best friend, proving that great friendships really do run in the family! Lizz and Malori’s own bond took off over a mutual love for books, and now she—along with Elsa—forms the ultimate 'bookstagram' trio. Whether they are sharing book hauls or debating their next five-star read, Malori’s friendship is a treasure Lizz values just as much as their moms value theirs.

If you see Lizz and her cousin Michael huddled together, they’re likely either complaining about the weather or sharing a story about his dad, Lizz's late Uncle Jim. Their bond is built on laughter and the kind of memories about Uncle Jim that stay with you forever. When it came time to pick the wedding party, Michael was the only choice to fill this role.

Lexi and I grew up together in our local homeschool group, where she quickly became my absolute best friend. Although life took us in different directions for a few years, reconnecting recently felt like no time had passed at all. I am so grateful to have my lifelong friend standing by my side as I say ‘I do.’

Groomsman
Duane and Lizz met gaming and from there maintained a friendship that Avery got drug in to as well. From playing on the sandy slopes of Dune to the seas of Sea of Thieves, you can usually find them bashing each other but if someone else in game chat even tries, Duane puts them in their place! We cant imagine any other person to take on a groomsman roll.
Theoden Miller
Ring Bearer
Guardian of the Rings. Theoden is the beloved son of Chuck and Nellie, and we’ve entrusted him with the most important mission of the day: getting the rings to the altar! We have full confidence in our Guardian, as long as the crowd doesn't make him feel too shy. Give him a friendly smile (but maybe not too much attention!) as he makes his way down the aisle alongside his momma and papa.

Father of the Bride
Sean is more than just Lizz’s dad; he’s her go-to for life’s big and small moments. From teaching her the value of hard work to sharing political jokes and peanut butter dessert ideas, their bond is one of a kind. He’s the reason Lizz knew a good man when she found one in Avery, and we are so honored to have him walk her down the aisle on June 6th.

Mother of the Bride
Sandy is Lizz’s official 'Wedding Agent' and the literal engine behind this entire day. Knowing Lizz’s deep-seated hatred for endless planning, Sandy has taken on the massive job of researching, contacting, and filtering every single detail. She does the hard work of narrowing it down to a few perfect options so Lizz just has to point and pick! This day has been Sandy’s dream since Lizz was born, and we are so grateful she’s shouldered the load so Lizz can actually enjoy being the bride.

Mother of the Groom
If you’ve ever been struck by Avery’s kindness or his impeccable manners, you have his mother to thank. As a single parent, she shouldered every weight and made every sacrifice to raise the incredible man he is today. Though Avery is preparing to cross borders and start a new life in the States, her support has remained unwavering. She isn't just watching her son get married; she’s seeing her lifelong devotion come full circle. We are so honored to have her blessing as we begin our journey together.

Officiant
Charlie was formly the lead pastor of Northridge Sabetha and though retired, he still serves the church in many ways. Being Lizz's pastor since her childhood makes it a privilege to have him officiating her and Avery's wedding!
Marte Mejstrik
Usher
What began as a simple rental agreement turned into a beautiful friendship. Marte is the kindest, most considerate landlord Lizz could have asked for, and his home will be the first place Avery and Lizz call 'ours' as a married couple. We love watching Marte prep his sailboats for the water, and we are so honored to have him sailing into our wedding day as our official Usher.

She took Lizz’s love for all things rustic, added a heavy dose of sparkle, and made sure pink was the star of the show. She’s been planning with us for months to ensure everything is exactly as we imagined, and we couldn't have done it without her.
