In 2015, Liz and William were both Sophmores in High school. In Gym class, William walked up to Liz making fun of her for being cold in 50° weather. “Pfft. How are you cold?” William said. From then on, they have been great friends throughout the school year. 2 years later, Liz and William were a bit distant due to different class schedules. It was until Liz noticed William working the summer before Senior Year. Liz ran up to William and hugged him tightly. Till this day, the two agree they felt a connection during their hug. Everyday since, William stayed in contact with Liz. Leading up to October 6th, 2017 A month into their Senior year. William asks Liz to be his girlfriend. Sharing how “head over heels” he is for her. Over the years they adopted their first fur baby Levi in October 2018 and their puppy Kenai on January 2021. They both love them endlessly. Then on July 2021, William joins Liz and her family on a vacation to Texas. Where they spent their first week in Houstan, Texas. And on their last week in South Padre Island, TX. On Aug 6th 2021, Friday of their last week. Blanca and William had an outstanding idea of going Horseback riding as a family. William and Liz accompanied by her family- Blanca, Cesar, David, Christian, Benny, Emily, Kevin and Carlos . A beautiful, sunny day riding horses on the beach of South Padre Island. The guides found a way to distract Liz and making her think her saddle needed to be fixed. Moving Liz to the front, they had her get off her horse. Facing her in the direction of William. In her words as she sees william “I was faced in Williams direction and I see his white horse slowly moving away, Like you see in the movies. Then I see william on one knee holding a ring asking me to marry him”
