Answer

You MUST RSVP by July 10th, 2021. If you don't and you show up, bring your own chair and a sandwich.

Answer

Yes there is tons of parking available at the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be private buses on the day of the event back and forth from Ribadesella (and Oviedo). We will also have some taxis on call for special circumstances.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, and avoid sharp heels since there's a lot of soft grass around.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive by 12:30 PM since the ceremony starts at 1 PM.

Question

When should I arrive to Spain?

Answer

We recommend that guests arrive to Asturias no later than September 9th, and if you can on September 8th so you can get over jet lag.

Question

Where and how do I get a rental car?

Answer

You can either rent a car from: the Asturias airport OR the Madrid Barajas airport All usual car rental companies are available (i.e. Hertz, Budget, Sixt, etc)

Question

Where should I stay and when?

Answer

If you arrive to Spain on September 8th or later, we suggest you stay in the Ribadesella area (please see "Travel" tab). If you decide to get an Airbnb, double check the driving distance from your Airbnb to the venue (Palacio de Cutre, Asturias). Note that the roads in his area are mountainous and somewhat treacherous at night. Please be extra careful when driving!

Question

Do I need a current passport?

Answer

Yes AND please make sure your passport has at least 6 months of validity AFTER your intended departure date! Officials can refuse you to allow you to enter the EU if you passport is too close to expiration.
