We recommend traveling directly to Vienna International Airport. If you want to go somewhere else in Europe figure out where you want to end up and buy a return flight home from there.
Check Travel section.
Yes… link for Hotel Imperial is in the Travel section.
Unfortunately no, especially not last minute. Only accepting guest if their name is on the invite. We have limited space and right now we are currently over the limit. There's no room in the ceremony room.
As much as we love and appreciate gifts, I would rather you ship the gift to our house because we’ll be backpacking through Europe for our honeymoon and we want you to have plenty of room in your luggage for goodies. Cash/gift cards welcomed though and just know we are planning to furnish our new home when we come back. Check out our registry.
Vienna is known for ball dances and vintage looks. Wear a nice gown and suit for men. Think old money or vintage style or wear your dream Bridgerton dress. It will be cold, please bring a nice coat to stay warm when outside and bring comfortable footwear after because we're playing some gameessssss.
Wear whatever you would wear to a bar.
December 4th! Don’t want you to be late. ;)
The Imperial Hotel has airport transportation for a price. We ask that everyone shares their flight info so that we can schedule ride if needed. There’s also Uber and Taxi service.
Always good to have Euros for tipping reasons but it’s better to do cash exchange when you are in Europe. They take all cards like Visa, Mastercard and most of the time Amex.
Absolutely and you should get it asap if you are planning to go. They had some delays for getting passports in 2023 so please make sure you get it early.
Well….. Plenty of people are going from all ages! Some are solo travelers, and some are first time European travelers. Mingle the day before wedding and explore Austria together!
Yes with some potential snow! Bring warm clothes and hand warmers.
German is there official language. Learn basic German before going like Nein and aha (Yes and No). In Europe a lot of restaurants and hotels know English so you will be fine.
There’s plenty of transportation but if you’re planning to visit other cities, it might not be a bad idea. Look at some YouTube videos to get familiar with European signs. You drive on the Right Side in Austria.
Use Google Maps. Google Maps was my best friend in Europe. It tells you where to get on and off on subways, trains, busses, etc.
If you wish to stay in Vienna, get a City Pass so you’re able to go anywhere whenever.
