Growing up in the border, Lizette and Edgar were fortunate to grow up in small towns in both countries. Lizette's family owned a small grocery store, "Abarrotes Manzano," in Guadalupe Distrito Bravo, Chihuahua, the same town where Edgar's family resided and attended church. It was at "Abarrotes Manzano" that Edgar would be terrorized by his future bride. It is important to mention that Lizette was a biter as a child. This is where the love story begins. Years later, Lizette and Edgar met again in the summer of 2011. Their first date was at Craze Frozen Yogurt, which will always be special to Lizette and Edgar. They continued to hang out throughout the summer, and then Lizette and Edgar parted ways as Lizette left to attend college out of town. Although they were miles apart, they stayed in touch throughout the years. On October 8, 2017, while attending a Calibre 50 concert at the Feria Juárez, Edgar asked Lizette to be his girlfriend. On March 19, 2021, Edgar asked Lizette to be his wife. Lizette y Edgar crecieron en pequeños pueblos de ambos lados de la frontera. Lizette and her family planned a trip to the East Coast for Spring Break of 2021 as COVID-19 traveling restrictions were slowly beginning to loosen. The trip included Lizette's loved ones and a stop at Acadia National Park in Maine, which Lizette was ecstatic about. Edgar knew this was the perfect time to get down on one knee and pop the big question. Lizette y su familia palearon un viaje a la Costa Este de los Estados Unidos en la primavera del 2021.
