We first crossed paths at Thomas A. Edison High School, where he was a senior and I was a sophomore. Though we shared mutual friends who introduced us, we couldn’t have known that day would be the start of something special. He was your typical high school guy, passionate about sports, while I spent my time in the Tech Club. Our meeting, of all places, was in the school cafeteria — who would've thought that years later, we'd find ourselves here, on the verge of getting married, reflecting on that unforgettable moment.

In December 2022, we took a vacation to Costa Rica, full of hiking, swimming, and climbing — and honestly, I couldn’t imagine Frank proposing in the midst of all that adventure. But on January 2nd, 2023, we decided to visit Isla Tortuga, a stunning island off the coast of Costa Rica. With a little help from my best friend, Frank nervously took me for a walk along the beach. In front of everyone, he surprised me by getting down on one knee and asking the most important question of our lives. Can you guess what I said? P.S. Frank carried my engagement ring all over Costa Rica, even through the hikes — so you can imagine just how much anxiety he was carrying throughout the trip!
